An Israeli airstrike on a house in the Lebanese town of Nubha, located in the eastern province of Baalbek, resulted in the deaths of at least eleven people on Thursday, according to the NNA news agency in Lebanon.
Baalbek Governor Bachir Khodr revealed that attacks were reported in approximately ten locations throughout the province during the day.
In addition, the IDF carried out at least four waves of bombing in the Dahye area, which is considered a stronghold of the Shiite group Hizbullah, located in the southern suburbs of Beirut.
Since the beginning of October, Israeli attacks have focused on this part of the Lebanese capital, coinciding with the start of the Israeli land invasion in the south of the country.
However, since last week, the army has intensified its operations, carrying out multiple attacks in a single day.
Israel justifies its bombing of Beirut by arguing that Hizbullah has integrated its “terrorist infrastructure” into densely populated areas.
